RESCUED-Aussies/queensland puppies: 4 are deaf

These are the pups that Patty Boles in Bakersfield was telling us about yesterday. I contacted the owners and they said the mom is an aussie/queens and the dad and aussie, who belongs to the neighbors.

There are 4 pups left, 2 are deaf, 2 are hearing and all 4 have vision. Their tails are not docked, and they are about 5 months old now (these pics are not current)

These people are leaving the state on the 25th and the pups will go to kern county animal control if they do not find rescue for them.

I am on my way out of town this morning and will be off computer until the
24th, so please contact me by phone after noon today.

"I know! Let's breed our merle dog with the neighbor's merle dog so they can have a bunch of puppies who may be deaf and/or blind. Then leave the state and not take them with us!"

EVEN THOUGH HE DESERVES IT, PLEASE DON'T ABUSE THIS TWIT. THE PUPS ARE NOT YET SAFE.

BUT PLEASE PLEASE TRY TO GET "JOHN" TO GIVE UP THE MOM, AND TELL HIM THE NEIGHBOR SHOULD ALLOW A RESCUER TO TAKE THE DAD AS WELL.

OTHERWISE, HE COULD TAKE THE MOM TO ANOTHER STATE AND BREED HER THERE.

These pups will all be safe and sound as of Sunday morning. We are driving to Bakersfield to pick them up. I will post adoption info if anyone is interested once they have been spayed/neutered, shots etc! YAY!!!

of course! They look like they need some cleaning up, then on to some adorable picture taking! I'll post all info once we get it all together, and they are safe and sound! I'm so excited that they won't have to spend a MINUTE in the Bakersfield shelter!!!

They are now SAFE! It's was the longest, but most rewarding 9 hour day I have had in years, but they were well worth the almost 400 miles of driving! All 4 have some degree of deafness and blindness, but they are happy, and otherwise healthy pups.... Once they are spayed and nuetered, and good pics are taken, I will post them if anyone wants to check them out! And just a little F.Y.I, the dad is now NEUTERED, and the mom will be spayed soon, so no more of these litters. They were very nice people that just made a mistake, and they did a very good job raising these puppies for the first 7 months of their lives
