Scott was adopted this morning and his new Mom reported that when he got inside the house he left his mark on a piece of furniture, but the rest of the day he went outdoors like he's supposed to do. He met his new gal-pal and immediately started humping her, but they're getting along well. He's not sure what to make of the kitties, so he's slowly getting introduced. And after being fed this evening, he layed down next to his Mom's feet and fell asleep.

This sounds like a normal first day for a just-rescued dog. I'm sure it will get better each day.

Hello All-
'Scott' (now known & licensed as Sir Chief for his regal, yet humble attitude) has been with us for a year and 5 months, and he was made for us. He is the light of my son's life, and has changed my son so much, in a VERY GOOD way. He gets along with everyone, and everyone is amazed he & Bella are 'shelter dogs'. He did the Circle of Hope walk for Cancer with us, and made it to the end... though he was pretty tired..

When we went to get these pictures done, the 'big dogs' of the group were WAY better behaved than a lot of the little ones! They made their Mama more proud then she already was =).
He is an all around wonderful dog, and we are working through his allergies, and constant coldness, but he is so thankful and happy with the simplest things.

I wanted to keep everyone up, and leave a positive note at this Christmas time. I would LOVE to adopt another animal my daughter wants a little Shnauzer, or Westie type, but not sure how that will work out just yet...

Haven't updated in a couple of years.. LOL.. going thru old E-mails..

Chief (Scott) is still VERY happy..Well cared for and LOVED. He's got a few more years on him now, but Is so filled with Love, and happiness.. He's quite the goof.
